Kim Parker

A Southern Belle since birth, Kim Parker was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. She was an entrepreneurial kid from the time she learned to speak, wheeling and dealing with her four sisters for bubble gum and Barbie dolls. (This is a negotiator with experience!)

Kim further honed her skills by attending the University of Alabama, and it was here in the home of the Crimson Tide that she met and married Tuscaloosa native Jamie Parker. After they married, they lived in Florida for a few years (we forgive them for that), and soon son James and daughter Britt came along. Life was sweet in Gainesville, but Tuscaloosa’s gravitational pull would not be denied. In 1995 the family followed their hearts and made the Druid City their home.

“We love it here,” says Kim. “I can’t imagine living anywhere else!” Her family agrees. Son James is busy planning his upcoming wedding to Caitlin Bowman, and daughter Britt (Crimson Tide cheerleader) is getting ready to graduate from UA. In addition to Kim’s Tuscaloosa realty business, she’s also a partner in the Parker family photography business, “Panoramic Photomarketing.” This nationally known business made its mark photographing university graduation/commencement ceremonies, and Kim’s sparking personality and ready smile puts each graduate at ease when it’s time to say “cheese.”

It’s those same “people-person” qualities that have endeared Kim to the staff at Advantage. She smiles, and effortlessly draws both client and colleague into her circle of friends---and that’s a nice place to be!
