Tuscaloosa's weather ranges from an average temperature in the winter months of 47 degrees F, to an average in the summer months of 82 degrees F. There is an average of 169 days per year when the high temperature is 80 degrees F or above. Average rainfall measures at approximately 52.46 inches per year. Most rainfall occurs during the fall, winter, and spring months. Average snowfall is about 0.6 inches per year.

Large Educational Selection for growing families

Depending on the area of town in which you reside, Tuscaloosa offers many elementary, middle, and high schools both in the county and the city. Brookwood, Hillcrest, and Northside are just a few of the county school systems. City schools offer a variety of elementary choices including Alberta, Arcadia, and Northington. Middle schools such as Eastwood, Tuscaloosa Middle School and Westlawn are all options. Central, Northridge, and TCT are a few of the city high school choices.
